Physics Of The Belly Flop

I do not know

Specifications: Volume 2003, is the work of successful Licalzi (debut in 2001 with "not me"). Novel of 250 pages or so, fast and easy to read.

Plot:
The story of Mario is the classic late thirties who knows his maturity, his venture into life forgetting the powder residue of adolescence and youth.
Reluctant to make decisions, to load on their shoulders the responsibilities and their own growth, will have to deal with Julie (his girlfriend, with whom he had a child) and the difficulties of life (work, being a father, compared with the death and pain). It 's almost a personal journal that could be drawn on the skin of many people, those people who (by definition of the volume) answered "do not know" surveys, answer "I do not know" to the front forks, they can not help but say " I do not know "when they have to make a choice.

Comment: In some ways I found it autobiographical, but this is a subjective parameter, someone can meet again in the role of Mario, not someone else. The fact remains that the life of this character and this is basically very credible, his passions and his being a free spirit that will not conform to the harsh reality of life is a passage of many staff (All?), More or less. Loose and fast reading, it is too "light" in some parts. Above all, reading is going ahead with the clear sense of the derailment as "I do not know" of the title leaves room for other events, other events in the life of Mark, and I think it goes a little way from the novel.
The final feeling is that he started a book with expectations, and it finished with a tally different. Not that I discourage reading, but the predicament is not the final balance the hours spent in my opinion: do not you come out enriched, nor do we think that much.

Top Stores That Have Layaway

IT

Specifications: Novel of 1986, one of King's most famous, if not THE most famous. Taken from the book is the movie of the same name in 1990 (see below). Definitely long (more than 1200 pages, is listed as one of the great masterpieces Horror)

Plot: 7 boys in the town of Derry (in Maine, as always), spend part of their youth to fight against the difficulties of 'be kids, fight with the bullies in school, but especially against a monster (it turns out cyclically, every 27 years or so) kills and devours children in particular, showing the form of their most terrible nightmares (vampire, mummy, werewolf, in second Deepest fear in the victim) often luring them with perhaps the most disturbing: a clown with orange buttons, at first sign of play and lightheartedness, but terrible and violent as any nightmare never experienced before. E 'own form of clown that kills and devours George, the brother of the protagonist of the story, Bill.
Since then he has a fighter that will continue for a period of 28 years, when the first 7 children, led by Bill Pennywise the clown face (as he calls himself) the sewers of the city, then as adults, in spite of themselves when they return to town Christmas, because Pennywise is back, again, as always, as each cycle. To beat a once and for all.

Comment: A long story, very long. With so many interludes and parentheses are classics now the King's formal and technical in some ways, my personal point of view, the individual stories of seven children, the flashbacks and the stories (apparently) little doily with the general plot is an integral part functional and well the story short, even if they seem to slow down the story, do not bother actually reading.
Rather, It is the struggle with that in my view falls page after page to the final pit, probably King wanted to tell a fear too great or too difficult to perform, and already had written 1000 pages of the preamble to make more ... 1000 to tell the struggle was too much. And ill make the 100 final double challenge by children and adults (always carried out in parallel, and that's good).
understand exactly what is IT, where it comes from, what they want (and at the end of the book is "explained") is what, if you will allow a parallelism almost scandalous, Tolkien wrote in Silmarillon: that the "before" is so vast and important, that we must explain separately. Written
but almost as an appendix to IT demeaning towards a volume of 1200 pages, as has been prepared in writing and the plot is worth more. In short, a very bad end of the story, in my view. IT the evil that existed before the world? Mah explained by the ass, in my opinion.

really excellent points in which each of the 7 characters back mentally to the past and rediscovering places and people with whom he spent his childhood. For example, the point where Bill finds Silver (his old bike) in a shop window of used items.
There are many places where King back on childhood (and related trauma) and on the "memory", and these are the true moments hinge on which turns the story. And perhaps the only good when they spend hours reading.
But the rite is defeated and some blowjobs It definitely about friendship (really too pedantic) and unity of the group (which expired in incredible tall tales) are the real flaws of a volume of 1200 pages maybe not worth spending your time, honestly.

Waffle Maker Star Wars

Farmer Giles of Ham

Specifications: One of Tolkien's work (dated 1949 and released in 1975 for the first time) that Over the years it has undergone several modifications and variations. And several versions are available in the library. Even a hundred pages of all-inclusive, is a book that is read in a day.

Edition recommended and cost: The cover is next to the edition that I have read, perhaps the most complete. Preface and Appendix Tolkien's son, has the complete story of notes, changes, history, versions, notes the author. Let's say a version-proud, passionate, but very pleasant for the completeness and accuracy. (Edition 2005). Price: € 19.00.

Plot: Britain invented and In a time not specified, Tolkien tells the story of Farmer Giles, his hunting dragon that annoyed the country, the sword Tailbiter (Dragonslayer given to him by the king), Chrysophylax Dives and other inhabitants in the country.
Al Giles ride in search of the dragon, he will return in victory, rich and famous, so that will take the place of the king and become the true master of their land.

Comment: The story itself is not a great story, more than anything else is a fairy tale (which, in fact, Tolkien wrote for his children). Retraces the great myth of the Dragonslayer and simple people who can become real heroes, introducing the classic narrative of Tolkien, his characters a little unbelievable, a a little bit funny and wonderful, in a scene as simple as "functional", even if disguised as a fairy tale.
Read it in one day, do not be disappointed. But it must be understood for what it is, and inserted in a context of "study Tolkien" I can appreciate a new facet (compared to The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings or the Silmarillion, of course).
unpretentious, and with the desire to read a story that is almost as children, you can definitely tackle in an afternoon.

Use Eyeclops On Laptop?

Jackdaws

Specifications: Ken Follett's novel was released in 2001, just over 400 pages in length.

Plot:
The novel is set in World War II, and is inspired by a true story or an episode in which 50 women ivasori have helped to defeat Nazi Germany. The novel tells, then, of six women who through their courage and their ability to have caused extensive damage in occupied France by destroying the most important channel of German communications infiltrating enemy lines, posing as cleaning women.
action, told over five days in the book, is parallel to their personal histories, to finding love, the global landscape is changing in the meantime (Germany loses blow for blow, only to lose the war) and the distance duel between the leader of this team of girls, Flick, and the German General Dieter Franck for Throughout the novel hunts them down.

Comment:
The war is the backdrop to this novel, full of twists and great insights of the actors who are the real fulcrum of the plot: Dieter Flick Cairet Franck and real characters are characterized with great care and emerge in driving is the real story as the action is, overall, the novel itself. Their duel at a distance without ever meeting (one chasing the other to run away forever and in any case) is very well engineered, but the story itself is not exactly a stroke of genius or a source of intuitions: the story is legible and, given the inspiration to the true story really happened, it is also believable, but there are too many bottlenecks that have made the success of the mission and stumbling in the end there are too many elements that make up the classic view of American film. Bella
phase of the initiative, the preparation and drafting of the mission, but when six women go into action, the story ends a little and in some places is obvious.
In any case, it is a chapter of World War II, one of thousands of different features that have marked victories and defeats determinants for the conclusion of the conflict.
not recommend it, but neither has thrown a reading, simply is not the novel of the century.

People Posting Status With Numbers?

Saltatempo

Specifications: volume in 2001, less than 300 pages in length. Fast story to read.

Plot:
Saltatempo is a guy who lives in the 50's. His real name is Mock (among other things, the nickname Benni is "wolf", thus slightly autobiographical ...) that takes this strange nickname after his chance encounter with God, who gives him the power to go ahead over time thanks to a "orobilogio" mental. Since then it Saltatempo "island" is often the situation, noting that the future of his mountain village, its people, its friends, discovering things about himself ... more or less positive.
Its history is intertwined all'orobilogio a student grappling with the high school, the university, with its membership in the Communist thinking, with their own personal growth and the first experiences with the opposite sex.

Comment: the book runs off like a dream, the pieces that speak of his village and the people who live there are fantastic and the pace of the writing is insistent: rhythms tall, extremely funny moments and a few dead spots (in fact, almost none). Fabulous points with the descriptions of his fellow villagers, who almost think you have met them seriously. In many ways carefree, in others it is a link to our youth, the time of the middle and high school life that some staff have all done our country. The closure is an elusive mix of dreamy, impersonal and a bit nostalgic. In essence, 300 pages worth every time you spend.

Pokemon Blue Online Free Fast

Student guerrilla

Specifications: Novel dated 2007 by Isamu Fukui (17 year old student). Length: less than 400 pages.

Edition recommended and cost:
Mondadori, 16.50 Euros.

Plot: In a City
the next few centuries, students must deal with a company, especially an education system that puts them back to the wall every day. Oppression on the part of teachers (Educator) and stewards / police (Enforcer) which together humiliate, punish, restrict school children. The spirit seems to lead to hard training and discipline, but in reality is pure mind control and strength.
Some students rebelled and formed the Truancy, an association outlaws comprised entirely of guys for a long time and undermine society, kill and destroy Enforcer key points of the system. Tuck takes center stage, initially against his will finds himself enlisted in the Truancy, and for the duration of the novel we see through his eyes and his feelings what it's like a school of oppression, anger and rebellion.

Comment:
In itself, the novel has little to say in some places it is too simple and the plot is sometimes predictable. But it must be acknowledged to the author (sedicenne!!) Have written a fair bit of fantasy as a student and very smooth, almost never, in fact, one is to lag in reading, indeed.
The fact remains that the protagonist is marked bad, some points of evolution of his thinking and his character vary too quickly, giving the feeling of falling behind the growth of the character, leaving a feeling of pressing too far-fetched.
Prediamolo to digress and that is 400 pages of reading a story fairly so-so. Nothing more.

Egg Free Potato Fish Cakes

Immediate Action

Specifications: Autobiography of Andy Mc Nab, released in 1997 after the success of Bravo Two Zero patrol . along much like the previous one, about 400 pages.

Edition and recommended price: € 8.90
's edition of Tea book, although there is from 4.90 Best sellers of travel.

Plot:
than the true story of Bravo Two Zero patrol in this chapter literary Mc Nab the plot deviates entirely on the personal life of this soldier, from his youth (16 year old when he enlisted in the green jackets and then arrive in SAS .) training, to personal experiences that have marked it. Perhaps more "technical" than the previous, and less novel, but certainly very effective as a whole.

Comment:
may seem at first view, that this volume of Mc Nab is the autobiography of a fanatical soldier, who rattles off technical data in 400 pages on how to assemble an AK-47 and fills us with the boring head of military techniques and who knows what else. Instead, the reading you will discover a real character (already evident in patrol Bravo Two Zero), a man continues to self-discovery, compared with death, life, training, lived with some segments of "bad luck" , as if under that uniform is not a soldier or a killing machine, but simply a man who makes this very normal military career the only way to escape from a bitter reality and makes the school of life, good and bad. Fantastic
Part of the training, a mixture of cynicism, to continue with their classmates, bigotry (of others), techniques (few actually) and black humor (real bearing characteristics of this soldier-writer-character).
I recommend especially to those who have qualms about these big issues (me first): helps to dispel some castles and to defuse and remove topics that have been built there in the years ahead (Tom Clancy), including new stuff in the world meanders there is still unknown, with a verve all its own.
know a black world in which we learn to survive in spite of yourself, live in it, to understand all the facets, and take the piss. This is Andy.

What To Do For Baby Belly Ache

Bravo Two Zero patrol

Specifications: novel set during the Gulf War, is published for the first time in 1993 in English, then translated into Italian released in 1997. It 'a great success and immediately became a best seller. Length: about 400 pages.

recommended and cost Edition: Paperback
(tea books, or other edition) 8,50 €. First edition about 18 €. Things to buy in the original, of course.

Plot:
's the story (true) of a British soldier during the Gulf War of 1990, told from the protagonist. Mc Nab (pseudonym of course) leads a group of trained military personnel who are responsible for sabotaging the lines of communication and to find missile launch door of Saddam Hussein.
The mission takes a different track almost immediately, when the patrol Bravo Two Zero Andy Mc Nab controls (8 men total) is discovered.
Since there is no escape in the desert, survival, struggle and resistance in prison for torture.

Comment:
The story, itself, is interesting, as one-sided point of view of a soldier taken prisoner by the Iraqis and how the topic might be too "Industry" and confusing to some readers. In my opinion it is still a great book for two reasons: because it is a very well written, and apart from some unimportant and distracting technical point of view is very close and loyal to the Gulf War, on aspects of combat, the prison , which have to undergo interrogation on detainees, torture and the myths dispelled by the war who first took part in it (this book was then made about a film of the same name).
The other reason is the characteristic carrier Mc Nab, who understand, it differs from the myriad of books on war and espionage (Tom Clancy to name one, which is considerably different): the cynical irony, even when it comes to drama and death, some jokes phenomenal scattered in several books, the absurdity of some moments he found himself living, the ability to make pleasant reading of a genre like this even to a reader like me, who is sometimes the military, the weapons and everything else a bunch of irritating issues.
Mc Nab becomes a character in several books, even when it is found in the shoes of Nick Stone, invented protagonist of his novels, written after his imprisonment. Nick is obviously his double, and perfectly embodies the manners, to say and do, and like a soap opera or a TV show in episodes, you learn quickly to understand and interpret the novels being often think "Oh, this piece is typical of Andy" until affezzionarsi, I'm serious.

The strategic advice.

Super Mario World And Yoshi Online

of Shannara The magical stones

Technical Data: According volume fantasy saga Brook, after The Sword of Shannara. The first edition (followed by many others) is 1984 and has a length of about 500 pages.

Edition recommended and cost: That image, cost under 10 €.

Synopsis: The second chapter in the saga tells the story of the son of Shea Ohmsford, Will. Everything revolves around him and that the test Allanon, who returned to work with the elves and men after a "new" threat looming over the Four Lands.
For some time now, the ethereal (the tree that acts as a guardian between our world and the world of demons) is dying, and the chasm is widening, leaving space for a tremendous invasion.
's task is to conduct Amberle Will, a girl elf, to plant the new tree after soaking the seeds in the Fire of Blood: the journey is long and he has only the stones of Shannara magic to help in protecting the girl (the stones allow him to sing and create illusions and protection for himself and fellow travelers).
At the end of the trip will be just the girl, Amberle, to discover the meaning of this passage and the real solution to save the world from invading demons.

Comment: As for whether the story has nothing special, it is obvious in some places (like at the same time truly enjoyable) and certainly does not leave you speechless.
along the lines of the previous chapter, it's all about the meaning of the long voyage, during which different forces come into play (wisdom and support of Allanon druid, still beautiful face), growth of the main characters (Will, antipaticissimo and Amberle since too wise to be a girl), the pursuit of the forces of evil (the chameleon and the reaper: the latter true character of the story, a villain with a capital C, perfect and beautifully marked) and the support of people met in the journey (Eretria, a gypsy leaving his company to help train).

As the story is not exceptional, however, remain some of the characters and parts (the hunt in the fortress of Paranor all) that are worth the reading time. It has no great pretensions and also for those who do not read much fantasy, it is clear the plot a little bit classic but enjoyable at the same time, if approached in this way the reading is enjoyable. We can expect a New "Hobbit", so to speak.
In essence it makes sense to read this book if inserted in the saga of Ohmsford and not in bed alone and with too many claims.

Dr Schultz Leptospira

Eye of the Needle

Specifications: volume published in 1978. It is among the first of Ken Follett, but it is one of the most famous and most successful (in this novel is the section of the movie in 1981). About 300 pages in length.

Plot: The story of nazizta a spy known as the needle. Maybe in the arms of Reich, this man of forty is the most decisive for the balance of the war and the fate of the German Empire. And 'he, in fact, that he discovered the trick organized by the Americans, who want to pretend not to land in Normandy, but rather in another area of \u200b\u200bFrance, and is therefore required to inform the Fuhrer-proof through photos he took. From this point begins the hunt for the spy by the British and Americans, to be able to intercept and bring to fruition the trick of misdirection.

Comment: is one smooth, well-written, and with historical references to the right point: the "scaffold" is so well done and believable, while the figure of the Nazi spy takes page after page to look like the bad hard. Ruthless, precise, cruel and very capable. What if it was not a Nazi almost tempted to root for him, as can be scorched earth between himself and the whole British nation that pursues him.

A new, not least, the light must, of course, a fall sooner or later, and we must therefore find a literary device so that the story takes a different direction. Until that point, the needle was a careful man, smart and infallible; make a silly face colossal to drop photos into enemy hands, I found a stretch. You could find a more credible and less hasty to say, "but then the pilot commits naive, and so on." Obviously I'm not here to explain what happened, not to spoil the reading.

In any case, the final is very exciting and takes almost the fold of a thriller. remains therefore a compelling story and very well written and flows easily from page to page. Have to like the genre, of course, although over espionage here is part of the story, the war and the life of a man constantly alone to struggle between secret identity, murder, conspiracy, survival. It's a war, that were it not for the help of special people, he might have taken another turn ...

Riker Island Inmate Visting

The long march

Specifications: comes out in 1970, and is one of the volumes are signed by "Richard Bachman" pseudonym used by the "King" for some time. Volume "minor" in length (does not meet the 290 pages), is one of the novels shorter than King.

Edition recommended and cost: Sperling Paperback - 8.40 €. Economical and easy to read, compulsory purchase in duplicate.

Comment: hundred young volunteers to start a running non-stop between Boston and Canada, which is repeated every year under the eyes of a nation morbid, curious to find out who will win, for he can ask the current government as a prize to whatever you want.
Set in an unspecified future, this short novel tells the psychological drama of this death march in which he who hesitates is lost, in fact, anyone of the participants to stop, or slow down below a certain speed of travel, you will receive a warning. After three warnings, here is the elimination: the military convoy that accompanied the marchers on the competitor will fire, removing it forever from the "race."
Only one, therefore, can win after days of uninterrupted march, leaving behind him 99 companions, with whom, probably, have shared the time, feelings and history during the crazy walk.

A small masterpiece of King, in this case as the master of the nightmare never twisted psychological dramas (in this case of 100 boys, each with its own history).
An ongoing dialogue between groups of marchers, continuous and desperate, looking for a challenge to the death, the precarious life or just to discover something about themselves and the sense of a lifetime ... paradoxically during a mad march toward certain death.
One after another, such as leaves, as numbers fall deleted. Freddie King, it records the exit:

"... the number 42 took his leave a few minutes later. "

A slap to today's society, the spectacle, in which the audience cheering the suffering of others, for each deletion, a provocative stimulus to our values, our conscience, to the system and feelings. The reaction under pressure, the desire to live and die at the same time, we finally arrive prepared for the last kilometers of the final pages, I really have accelerated the heart and breathing stopped, fascinated. Where I was absorbed by a wave of emotion muffled, as told through the eyes of 2-3 guys who come straight to the final lifeless, with wings of a large crowd to scream death with a smile, where the asphalt flickers giving away (last) images blurry, before losing his last strength and ...

It says a lot of the big bestseller King of his greatest novels, long and complex, in which a narrative description and build a world almost live, but in these 280 pages that in my opinion is summed up the King : in the rational madness, in the cold and incontestable nightmare, to which one can only believe, and where you fall, dragged by a thin hypnosis.
Frightening in its simplicity, brilliant, absolutely.

Thule Revolver Or Yakima Swingdaddy

Children of Hurin

Specifications: posthumous novel, written in part by JRR Tolkien and largely by his son, who has completed the work after many years. Released in 2007, after being quoted (as history) in Silmarillon and other Tolkien stories. Length about 350 pages.

Plot in a nutshell: The story of Turin son of Hurin, who fights his personal challenge to Morgoth (the Dark Lord that dominates the Middle-earth). The focus of the story is the personal story of Turin and troubles, torn between his problems (enter into an outlaw band) and those of Middle-earth (who needs the help of a strong hero), Glaurung it makes its appearance in the scene: this dragon, sent by Morgoth, destroys everything and everyone and should be discarded.
Fate will want the fight in Turin alone, facing the enemy that your destiny.

Comment: difficult to give an opinion without connecting to the rest of the landscape Tolkien: missing link between Silmarillon, Lost Tales, Book of Lost Tales, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings is a book that throws some sparks pearl and a few here and there. Alone is a story a little anonymous in the sense that in the plethora of names, places and eras, and very little if not included in the global landscape.
edition (The only) that came out, there are also histories, family trees (the most beautiful and interesting for the fans), and author notes.
Ultimately, only for fans, only to faithful readers. It is a story ... let's say, lonely, how can it be "The Hobbit".
Peronalmente I found the "narrative" as usual, typical of smooth and colorful world of Tolkien, but in some places (as, indeed, names, lists of characters and various offspring) a bit cumbersome and slow.

Overall Rating: alone is a volume of 5, in the context right is 7.5.
