Top Stores That Have Layaway

IT

Specifications: Novel of 1986, one of King's most famous, if not THE most famous. Taken from the book is the movie of the same name in 1990 (see below). Definitely long (more than 1200 pages, is listed as one of the great masterpieces Horror)

Plot: 7 boys in the town of Derry (in Maine, as always), spend part of their youth to fight against the difficulties of 'be kids, fight with the bullies in school, but especially against a monster (it turns out cyclically, every 27 years or so) kills and devours children in particular, showing the form of their most terrible nightmares (vampire, mummy, werewolf, in second Deepest fear in the victim) often luring them with perhaps the most disturbing: a clown with orange buttons, at first sign of play and lightheartedness, but terrible and violent as any nightmare never experienced before. E 'own form of clown that kills and devours George, the brother of the protagonist of the story, Bill.
Since then he has a fighter that will continue for a period of 28 years, when the first 7 children, led by Bill Pennywise the clown face (as he calls himself) the sewers of the city, then as adults, in spite of themselves when they return to town Christmas, because Pennywise is back, again, as always, as each cycle. To beat a once and for all.

Comment: A long story, very long. With so many interludes and parentheses are classics now the King's formal and technical in some ways, my personal point of view, the individual stories of seven children, the flashbacks and the stories (apparently) little doily with the general plot is an integral part functional and well the story short, even if they seem to slow down the story, do not bother actually reading.
Rather, It is the struggle with that in my view falls page after page to the final pit, probably King wanted to tell a fear too great or too difficult to perform, and already had written 1000 pages of the preamble to make more ... 1000 to tell the struggle was too much. And ill make the 100 final double challenge by children and adults (always carried out in parallel, and that's good).
understand exactly what is IT, where it comes from, what they want (and at the end of the book is "explained") is what, if you will allow a parallelism almost scandalous, Tolkien wrote in Silmarillon: that the "before" is so vast and important, that we must explain separately. Written
but almost as an appendix to IT demeaning towards a volume of 1200 pages, as has been prepared in writing and the plot is worth more. In short, a very bad end of the story, in my view. IT the evil that existed before the world? Mah explained by the ass, in my opinion.

really excellent points in which each of the 7 characters back mentally to the past and rediscovering places and people with whom he spent his childhood. For example, the point where Bill finds Silver (his old bike) in a shop window of used items.
There are many places where King back on childhood (and related trauma) and on the "memory", and these are the true moments hinge on which turns the story. And perhaps the only good when they spend hours reading.
But the rite is defeated and some blowjobs It definitely about friendship (really too pedantic) and unity of the group (which expired in incredible tall tales) are the real flaws of a volume of 1200 pages maybe not worth spending your time, honestly.

Overall Rating: 5

[below: the piece incipit, in the book is much better. Strange]
